That nurse's comment is a weird way of putting it. May childhood viruses consist of a fever, followed by a rash...but I've never heard of a rash occuring as a reaction to a fever. Not that my memorization of baby health websites makes me more expert :-) Anyway, just wanted you to know that we've been there and I'm sorry you had such a scary night...
