haaaaaaaaaallelujah! haaaaaaaaaaallelujah! hallelujah, hallelujah, halleeeeluuuuuujah….!
Last night Jack did the unthinkable and slept through the night! He slept from about 11:45 to 7:15. Of course, I woke up every hour or so, saw him thrashing around in the cosleeper, and thought “This is it, he’s waking up..” but he didn’t.
I am trying not to get my hopes up that this is a trend, but at least he’s demonstrated it’s possible. He has had a very busy couple of days, so maybe he was just plain worn out. Wednesday morning we went to the new mom’s group we always go to, then did some errands, then went to my parents’ in Walnut Creek. Wednesday night we took him over to a family friend’s for a visit.
I tried to have him sleep in the Pak N Play at my parents but he was having none of it. I was BOUND AND DETERMINED, he was going to sleep in there, darn it, but I lost that battle after a couple of hours and brought him into bed with me. Thursday morning I took him over to my aunt’s to see her and a friend. Then we drove back home and met up with a friend and her son. Busy busy busy.
